Beginner Strength Training 4 week Program 2024
  • Strength Training for Beginners- Helping Knees and Low Back issues

    Episode 1

    You will need:
    - A Thick band
    - Bender Ball
    - Mini Band

  • Inner Thigh Strengthening

    Episode 2

    You will need a bender ball for this workout. If you have a PILATES RING this can be used instead as well!

    When we build up our inner thigh strength, we strengthen around the knees.

  • Core foundation #1

    Episode 3

    Slow controlled movements that use the whole body, all lying down, with a supported low back.

    You will need:
    A bender ball and a mini band any strength

  • 10 min Glute Challenge with Mini Band

    Episode 4

    All you will need is a mini band- not thick band.
    Medium or Heavy- you may choose to do this without a band too if it is too intense.

    This amazing workout will help strengthen glutes, and that means you will help strengthen knees.

  • Core foundation #2

    Episode 5

    Slow controlled movements that use the whole body, all lying down, with a supported low back.

    You will need:
    A bender ball and a mini band any strength

  • Personal Training- Lower Body/Chest/Back/Core

    Episode 6

    Top it off with one of Excel Fitness' Core blast at the end!

  • 7 min upper body blast!

    Episode 7

    10 upper body exercises that will rev up those upper body muscles!
    Any dumbbell size will do!
    7 min total
    25 seconds of work : 12 seconds recovery to switch to the next exercise

    Complete one time through, and your muscles will thank you!

  • Pre/Post Natal Pilates Style Workout #1

    Episode 9

    Using a set of Dbells, and a mini band- this session focuses on the pelvic floor, hips, and upper body.

  • Pilates Pillow Core Blast

    Episode 10

    Pilates pillows are amazing for low back support. This workout gives you some great variety and stretch options with the pillow.

  • 8 min Pilates pillow stretch out

    Episode 11

    Any level is welcomed in this sequence! Grab your Pilates pillow and let’s stretch out!
